I wrote this song a few days after the passing of a family member -- it is dedicated to everyone we have lost over the years, especially due to addiction and suicide. It is a reminder that Grief is Love, and the grieving process is one we should remember to revere and honor, it is not meant to be swept under the rug. This song is an invitation.

“Tesstamona addresses the societal manipulation and divisive tactics of modern media. Her sharp, poetic narrative serves as a rallying cry for unity and a reminder of shared humanity amidst escalating tensions.”

Singer, songwriter, poet and author
Tesstamona is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of music and poetry.
Her sound is self-described as Mystic Dissident, fusing blues, indie rock, and Phrygian modes, with a vocal approach rooted in R&B and hip-hop.
Tesstamona makes music for outlaws and mystics who seek truth and liberation.
A former heroin addict with 16 years clean, she decided to start sharing her words to reach others in seemingly hopeless places at the beginning of her recovery journey.
"I started creating because it was my reason to live. Now I share my creations so hopefully others can find their reason, and be reminded they're not alone."
She is also the author of The Great Remembering, an online publication with over 400 articles, essays and poems.
While her work engages themes of revolution, liberation, and tyranny, it resists identification with political partisanship or prescribed ideology, approaching activism through truth-telling, personal responsibility, sovereignty and connection to The Supreme Reality.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and having lived all over the United States, her work reflects a life lived in motion, shaped by survival, recovery and relentlessness.
Tesstamona will release her debut full-length album "Ghost In The Machine" in 2026.
